MICHAEL KOEHLER spent his childhood making home movies in East Africa. After earning a BFA in Film & TV Production from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, he spent a year in Southeast Asia doing relief and documentary work. He then returned to New York City, where he edited narrative, documentary, and non-profit film projects for four years. He currently works as a screenwriter and story consultant and he also runs Lights Film School, an online education environment for independent filmmakers around the world.
NOAH WAGNER is an award-winning director, writer, editor and producer based out of NYC and LA, and a film school graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He has worked in varying capacities for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, BBC, NBC Universal, Pepsi, The New Yorker, Expedia, Blue Man Group, and HBO, where he spent close to a decade creating ancillary video, VR, and digital content for documentaries, sports, and series such as Westworld, Silicon Valley, Ballers, and Game of Thrones.
His work has appeared on HBO, NBC, BBC, Nowness, Vimeo Staff Picks and The New Yorker, where it was named to their year-end “Best Of” list. His films have screened at film festivals worldwide - under the moniker “A Work of Ark” - and he is currently in development with Michael on the feature-length adaptation of Watch Room.
